About Us
Unfinished Business Books don’t just tell stories. We finish what others left undone.
This space was born from lived experience—shaped behind glass walls and beneath fluorescent lights, in courtrooms and classrooms, in silence and defiance. Unfinished Business isn’t just a memoir—it’s a movement. A call to confront the systems that judge too early and heal too late. A blueprint for rebuilding what was never designed to include us in the first place.
Led by Dr. Henry E. Tyler, an educator, justice advocate, and formerly incarcerated leader, this platform is dedicated to truth-telling, second chances, and systemic change. We believe that the ledger can be rewritten. That redemption is real. That the classroom and the cellblock are not separate stories, but two pages from the same unfinished book.
Through writing, speaking, community engagement, and education reform, we create space for the overlooked, the written-off, and the underestimated.

And the story isn’t over yet.
Dr. Henry E. Tyler's Journey
Dr. Henry E. Tyler was once a financial analyst—or maybe just a man wearing the right suit at the wrong time. What followed wasn’t a fall so much as an unraveling. From courtrooms to classrooms, from silence to speech, he became something else entirely. His memoir claims to tell the story—or at least the version that survived..
This book traces his story—but whose story is it, really? Beneath the names and dates lie echoes: of courtrooms that echo louder than verdicts, of classrooms where futures are bartered, of systems that sentence long before the trial. It doesn’t just tell—it reveals, refracts, resists. A mirror, a map, a warning. And maybe, a way through.
